We are committed to protecting your privacy and security. This privacy policy describes in detail the types of personal information that we collect and record and how we use it. We control this site from offices in Canada. We do not represent that materials on the site are appropriate or available for use in other locations. Persons who choose to access this site from other locations do so on their own initiative, and are responsible for compliance with local laws, if applicable.

Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies. How We Use The Information We Collect 

By submitting your email address on this website, you agree to receive emails from us. You can cancel your participation in any of these email lists at any time by clicking the unsubscribe option that is included in each email. You may also modify the information you provided us by clicking on the link at the bottom of each email to update your preferences. If you have any trouble opting out, please send us an email. We will manually remove you from our email list(s). We only send emails to people who have authorized us to contact them, either directly, or through a third party. We do not send unsolicited commercial emails.  

By submitting your email address, you also agree to allow us to use your email address for custom audience targeting on sites such as Facebook, where we display custom advertising to some people who have opted-in to receive communications from us.  

 If you purchase a product or service from us, we will request and store some personal information from you on our order form, such as contact information (for example, name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (for example, credit card information). We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing your order, we might also use this information to contact you.

In addition, you agree that by submitting your phone number on this website or by registering to receive the products or services offered on this site, such act constitutes a purchase, an inquiry, and/or an application for the purposes of the applicable state and local “do not call” regulations. We retain the right to contact you via telemarketing in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.  

Furthermore, basic information such as your IP address, when you visited, the website from where you came prior to visiting us, the website where you go when you leave our website, your computer’s operating system, and the type of web browser that you are using may be automatically collected and recorded when you access our site.

Cookies & Pixels

We use cookies to store information about visitors' preferences, to record user-specific information, on which pages the site visitor accesses or visits, and to personalize or customize our web page content based on visitors' browser type or other information that the visitor sends via their browser. A cookie is a small amount of data that is transferred to your browser by a web server and can only be read by the server that gave it to you. It works as your identification card and enables us to record your passwords, purchases, and preferences. It cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses. These pixels allow social media sites to track visitors to outside websites in order to offer customized advertising messages to users while they are visiting that social media site. Why We Collect Information  

We collect your information in order to record and support your participation in the activities you select. If you register for a course, a coaching program, or a free training, for example, the information is used to enroll you in the program, to enroll you in our newsletters, to track your preferences, and to keep you informed about the product and related products. As a visitor to our site, you can engage in many activities without providing any personal information.  

In connection with other activities, such as those described above, we may ask you to provide certain information about yourself by submitting an online form. It is completely optional for you to engage in these activities. If you choose to engage in these activities, however, we may ask that you provide us personal information, such as your first and last name, mailing address, email address, phone number , credit card, and other personal information. If you do not provide the mandatory data for a specific activity, you will not be able to engage in that activity.  

In all cases, we will collect personal identification information from you only if you voluntarily submit such information to us. We will also tell you how we use your information or if we share it with another party. Except as otherwise provided in this policy, we will never intentionally disclose any personal identification information about you as an individual user to any third party without having received your permission.  

If you supply us with your contact information you may receive periodic emails, mailings or calls from us with information on new products and services, important issues, or upcoming events. If you wish to be removed from any postal, email, phone, or other lists, please let us know by emailing us. Please provide us with your exact name, email address, mailing address, and phone and we will make sure your information is removed from the appropriate lists immediately. 

How Long We Keep Your Information  

We will retain your personal information for as long as is needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible. For personal information that we process on behalf of our subscribers, we will retain such personal information in accordance with the terms of our agreement with them, subject to applicable law.  

Access To Your Information  

To make a request to have personal information maintained by us returned to you or removed, please email catherine@thecleverachiever.com. Requests to access, change, or remove your information will be handled within thirty (30) days. We may verify your identity before complying with the request.

An individual who seeks access to personal information, or who seeks to modify or delete personal information stored or processed by us on behalf of one of our subscribers, should direct his/her query to the subscriber. Upon receipt of a request from one of our subscribers for us to remove or amend the data, we will respond to their request within thirty (30) days. We will retain personal information that we store and process on behalf of our subscribers for as long as needed to provide the services to our subscribers. We will retain and use this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.  

If you are a subscriber or otherwise provide us with personal information in connection with your use of our website or services, we will delete this information upon your request, provided that, notwithstanding such request, this information may be retained for as long as you maintain an account for our services, or as needed to provide you with our services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.  

Additional Rights For Residents Of The European Economic Area (EEA)  

If you are within the European Union, you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 

Those rights include:  

1. You have the right to request access to your data that we store and the rights to either rectify or erase your personal data.

2. You have the right to request restrictions on or to object to the processing of your data.  

3. You have the right to the portability of your data.  

4. If you provided consent to our processing of your personal data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of our processing which was based upon the consent that occurred prior to your withdrawal of consent.  

5. You have the right to make a complaint to a data protection authority that has jurisdiction over issues related to our collection and use of your personal information.  

We will retain the information you choose to provide us until the earlier of: (a) you asking us to delete the information, (b) our decision to stop using our existing data providers, or (c) we decide that the value in retaining the data is outweighed by the costs of retaining it.  

We will only require the information that is reasonably required to enter into a contract with you. We will not require you to provide consent for any unnecessary processing as a condition of entering into a contract with us. 

Exceptions To Privacy Policy  

While we are committed to keeping your information secure and private, we have the following exceptions to our privacy policy: 

We will release specific information about you or your account to comply with any valid legal inquiry or process. We will also release specific information in special cases, such as if there is an attempted breach of the security of the site, or a physical or property threat to you or others. We may also transfer user information, including personally identifiable information, in connection with a reaorganization, merger or other fundamental corporate change.

We share information, including personal information, with our third-party technology service providers. These third-party service providers may have access to or process your personal information for the purpose of providing these services for us. We do not permit our third-party service providers to use the personal information that we share with them for their marketing purposes or for any other purpose than in connection with the services they provide to us.

We may also collect information in aggregate form, without identifying you or any user individually, as data for statistical analysis, marketing, or promotional purposes. Although we do not disclose individually identifiable information, we may also disclose aggregate data about our website’s visitors to advertisers or other third parties for marketing purposes.  

Please note that if you give out personal information online in a comment or another public section of our site, we cannot guarantee the security of that information. You disclose such information at your own risk.

Children's Information

We believe it is important to provide added protection for children online. We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 18. If a parent or guardian believes we have in our database the personally identifiable information of a child under the age of 18, please contact us immediately (using the contact in information at the bottom of this page) and we will use our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.  

Miscellaneous 

These terms will be governed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec. You agree that any action at law or in equity that relates to these terms will be subject to mediation in the Province of Quebec. If any of these terms of use are found unenforceable or unapplicable, then that part of our privacy policy will be considered severable from the remaining terms, and will not affect the validity of the remaining terms. 

These terms may be modified only by changes to our Privacy Policy on our site.
